If you have recently paid off your mortgage, or are about to do so, contact Ross McGinlay who will talk you through the discharge of mortgage process.

When you arranged your mortgage, you would have granted a standard security over your home. Now that the mortgage has been paid off, a discharge of the standard security requires to be granted by the lender and then sent to the Land Register for registration. We can attend to the process and will be able to quote you a fixed fee for carrying out the work. We can offer to store your titles in our safe on your behalf and do not charge for storage of your deeds. We can offer to provide you with a copy of your deed at no extra cost.
