Walker Laird has a long established re-mortgage department and we act for a number of lender clients including Nationwide Building Society, Co-Operative Bank PLC ( trading as Platform),Skipton Building Society, Skipton International, Virgin Money PLC, Bank of Ireland UK PLC, Cumberland Building Society, Scottish Building Society, Britannia Building Society. We combine all the experience of a long standing law firm with up to date IT systems which allow us to offer an efficient and dynamic service to our lender clients. We offer reporting on all of our re-mortgage cases and ensure that the borrower’s experience of the legal process is straightforward and jargon free. Our Case Managers will handle the re –mortgage from start to finish so that the borrower always has clear lines of communication and a known contact. We provide updates on cases to intermediaries upon request via a dedicated email service. We appreciate the role of the intermediary and will always respond to emailed enquiries within 24 hours of receipt. We have developed and continue to work on product development to allow us to maintain service level agreement compliance in this dynamic and high volume environment. Our team of experienced staff endeavour to complete cases as swiftly as possible whilst also advising the borrowers on non- standard issues that may arise from time to time such as transfers of title, first registration of title or second charges. Our experienced solicitors offer advice on such matters and understand that borrowers will require additional support and guidance when their case involves complex or involved legal issues.
