Jim Paterson

Jim Paterson is our Non-Executive Chairman as well as in-house accountant and together with Ronnie McGinlay, David Forbes and Ross McGinlay they form the firm’s Management Committee.

Jim qualified as a CA in the early 1970’s and in 2007 he retired from Hardie Caldwell LLP, Chartered Accountants where he held the roles of managing and senior partner. At that time Walker Laird was one of Jim’s clients and in late 2009 the firm approached Jim with a view to him joining the firm.
